The
71st Armenian Chess Championship is taking place from 18th to 29th January in Yerevan. Twelve players are engaged in the round robin tournament with the average elo of 2562. The champion will be invited to join the national team at the European Team Chess Championship in Creta Maris.
GM Avetik Grigoryan is defending the
last year's title.
