The 2nd Magistral Internacional Marcel Duchamp is taking place from 11th to 19th December at the Club Argentino de Ajedrez, in Buenos Aires. Ten players compete in the round robin tournament, where top seed is GM Neuris Delgado Ramirez of Colombia.

But the local Sandro Mareco, who became Grandmaster and sky-rocketed his rating above 2600 elo within one year, is convincingly leading the race with 5.5 points from six games. Full point behind are GM Diego Flores (Argentina) and GM Gilberto Milos (Brazil).

Within the same time frame and in the same venue, the 3rd-FIDE category Magistral Internacional Jorge Duarte is being played. Top rated IM Lucas Liascovich is leading with 5 points from six rounds.
