The 6th Asian Schools Championship is taking place 7-12 December 2010 in Colombo, Sri Lanka organized by the Sri Lanka Chess Federation under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation. A record 231 boys and girls from nine countries, namely India, Iran, China, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka are competing in the under-7, 9, 11, 13 and 15 divisions.
