Solo leader China (left) vs. Iran.China beat Iran 3:1 to hold on to its solo lead with 10 match points followed by the Philippines with 8. Each team win is 2 match points and a team draw is 1 match point, with zero for a loss. GMs Bu Xiangzhi and Zhou Jianchao scored for China over GM Toufighi Homayoon and IM Glizadeh Asghar on lower boards. GMs Wang Yue and Wang Hao split the point with Iran's GMs Ghaem Maghami and Mahjoob Homayoon.
Giant killers Kyrgyzstan (left) vs. VietnamThree untitled Kyrgyzstan players upset their highly rated grandmaster opponents to score 3.5 to 0.5 against Vietnam and jump to third slot with 7 match points. Algis Shukuraliev, rated 2376, upset GM Le Quang Liem (2689) on top board while Nurdin Samakov, upset GM Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son (2628) on second board. Nasyr Akylbekov (2376) added the third point at the expense of Cao Sang (2547) on board 3. FM Semetey Tologontegin (2330) completed the rout by holding IM Nguyen Huyng MNinh Huy (2459) to a draw.

India thrashed Mongolia by the same score 3.5-0.5 on wins by Harika Dronavali and Meenakshi Subbaraman with a walkover by Mohota Nisha on board 4. Mongolia's Tuvshintugs Batchimeg stopped the rout by holding India's Tania Sachdev to a draw.
