The International Chess Tournament "Мinsk Оpen 2010" will be held from 3rd to 12th August at the Republican Olympic Chess Center, 10K. Marks str., 220030 Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

The Tournament will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds. The winner shall be determined by a) Buchholz; b) slender Buchholz; c) Progressive Score.
The prizes are shared according to the Hort system, except the special prizes.

First place USD 2360, Second place USD 1860, Third place USD 1330, etc. Total 20 Prizes + special prizes: women, seniors, rating prizes, Progress (Performance minus Rating). Total prize fund - USD 10,000.

118 players are signed to play, top rated is GM Denis Khismatullin (Russia 2667).
