The 4th Bazna Kings super tournament resumes after a rest day on Wednesday. With a series of victories in mid-event, four in a row, Magnus Carlsen gained a comfortable full point lead ahead of FIDE World Cup winner Boris Gelfand with two rounds to go.

Teimour Radjabov is third with 50% score, while Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu is only half a point behind after a win against Wang Yue. Ruslan Ponomariov couldn't make up for two losses with White in Saemish King's Indian defence. Wang Yue is last without a single victory as of yet.
