Serbian Grandmaster Aleksa Strikovic is undefeated champion of the Third International Open Montalvo Pedro Lezcano with 7.5 points from nine rounds (six wins and three draws), closely beating the fellow GM Bojan Kurajica (BIH) on better additional criteria. Serbian GM Dragan Barlov is clear third with 7.0 points.
The third edition of Pedro Lezcano Montalvo Memorial, which on this occasion was organised as an International Open tournament, took place on 29th March - 4th April, 2010, at the Chess Club de La Caja de Canarias, Gran Canaria, Spain. 86 players participated, and among them five Grandmasters.

La Roda Torneo Internacional de Ajedrez
The 37th La Roda Torneo Internacional de Ajedrez was held from 31st March to 4th April, 2010, in Albacete, Spain. 205 players participated in a 9-round Swiss tournament with a time control of 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment. The organizers have provided a rich prize fund of 11.000 EUR, with 2.200 EUR reserved for the winner.
Young Brazilian Grandmaster Andre Diamant earned the winners trophy thanks to the better tiebreak score against M Jose Fernando Cuenca Jimenez. Both players collected 7.5 points.

San Sebastian International Tournament
The 33rd edition of San Sebastian International Tournament was held from March 28th to April 4th in the basque city of San Sebastian (Donostia in Basque language). The playing venue was at Gros Xake Taldea, a chess club which has recently inaugurated its playing area next to the Anoeta Football stadium at the "fronton" Karmelo Balda.
Cuban IM Aramis Alvarez Pedraza won a crucial last round encounter versus GM Alexis Cabrera, surpassed GM Marko Tratar and IM Daniel Alsina Leal, and earned a clear first place with 7.5 points. Alvarez Pedraza has another reason to celebrate, as he also took a GM norm, together with Alsina Leal.
