The Al Ain Chess Club organizes the Al Ain Winter Chess Festival, 26-27 February 2010, at the Al Ain Mall in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates with nearly $9,000 in cash prizes up for grabs.

The festival includes the Al Ain Masters Blitz Chess Tournament, a 9-round Swiss starting 5pm on 26 February. A Grandmaster shall give a Simultaneous Chess Blitz Exhibition against six players. The activities include Cultural quizzes withy prizes at stake. An Al Ain Amateurs Blitz Chess tournament shall be held starting 4 pm on 27 February for players under 2150. Then an Al Ain Chess Match will be held where two players compete on four boards at the same timne with ten minutes for every game.
