8th International Caspian Cup |

The 8th International Caspian Cup, under the auspices of the Gilan Chess Association, will be held from 12th until 19th February in Rasht, Iran. The main A Group has thus far 84 registered players and top seeded is GM Mirzoev Azer. There are 14 Grandmasters in the field. Women's event, D Class, has 138 participants, led by the Georgian WGM Nino Batsiashvili.
