The 9th International Chess Festival Prague Open 2010 is taking place on 8-15th January in Praha, Czech Republic. The festival is a part of the large Czech Tour 2009/2010 which is comprised of ten tournaments.

The festival consists of Prague Open A master tournament, Prague Open B rating tournament and one-day rapid event. The main A group has attracted 133 participants from 24 countries, including 8 Grandmasters among them. Top seeded is GM Vladimir Malaniuk from Ukraine.

After the starting three rounds, six players are sharing the first place with perfect score - IM Kanovsky David (CZE 2471), GM Ivanov Mikhail M (RUS 2465), GM Maslak Konstantin (RUS 2571) IM Zvara Petr (CZE 2419), IM Yatsenko Alexey (RUS 2468) and IM Bodiroga Predrag (SRB 2420).
