52nd Reggio Emilia Tournament Print

One of the world's longest running tournaments, hosted in Reggio Emilia, Italy, is currently observing its 52nd edition. The event is taking place from 28th December 2009 until 6th January 2010.

Three rounds have already been played, and four players are concentrated on the top - Godena, Almasi, Kamsky and Safarli. Zoltan Almasi was the winner of the jubilee 50th tournament in Reggio Emilia.
