There came 42 players to Budapest this month from the following nine countries: CAN, ENG, GER, HUN, NOR, RUS, SIN, USA, VIE. One IM-Title tournament and three FIDE-rating groups were created. GM group was not organised this month.
IM:
Four IM-s showed great forms so neither candidates could achieve IM norms this time. However, the event did not remain norm-less. Barishnikova Lyudmila (AZE) received IA-norm certificate for acting successfully as Deputy Chief Arbiter in all groups.

FM-C:
Szabo Gabor (HUN, 15 years) the highest rated player won the group convincingly losing only in the last round. The Grimm brothers (12 and 15 years old) also showed promising performances. The youngest of all, the 7 (seven) years old Kozak Adam (HUN) achieved his first FIDE Temporary Performed Rating (TPR) 1525 and that is a great success for his age.
