The Polish Grandmaster Marcin Dziuba won against the Spanish GM Luis Arizmendi Martinez in the final ninth round and emerged as the tournament sole winner, having collected 7.5 points. The Romanian IM Gergely-Andras-Gyula Szabo, who was joint leader for most of the event, could not achieve more than a draw against the experienced GM Aleksa Strikovic, and finished on the shared 2nd place, together with six other players.

After the main rated tournament, the Belgrade blitz championship will be held on Thursday, 3rd of December, at the same venue.
