GM section: 17 year old Prohaszka Peter (HUN) achieved his third GM norm with solid positional style showing special skills at endgames. After his 9th games he had 6.5 points having TPR 2625 and met all requirements for the GM norm. He won U14 European Championship (2006) and won bronze medal in U16 (2008) both Herceg Novi (MNE) so his outstanding performance is not a big surprise.

He is going to be the youngest GM of Hungary at present.

The new-born GM stated that he is very grateful to his parents, to FM Magyar Otto his first coach and to GM Lukacs, Peter who is his present trainer.
