The 16th Asian Cities Team Championship for Dubai Cup, organized by the Lebanese Chess Federation under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation, reeled off with 20 teams competing from 15th to 23rd April at the Meridien Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon. Furn el Chebak Municipal Mayor Reymond Semean opened the tournament together with Sulaiman Al Fahim, president of the UAE Chess Federation, who signed an agreement of cooperation with the Lebanese Chess Federation president Nabil Sinno as Chiah Mayor Rolland Rahhel looks on during the opening ceremonies.
