REGULATION

1. ORGANIZERS

2. PARTICIPATION

The Tournament is open for all woman players. Each player must herself cover all her expenses: entry fee, ransportation, accommodation and board.

3. SYSTEM, RATE OF PLAY

FIDE Rules, Swiss in 9 rounds.
90 min for all moves, increment 30 sec.

Will be used Varlam Vepkvishvili's Swiss Pairing Program "VARLAM".

4. TIE-BREAK

- Progress
- The sum of opponents' ratings, without lowest rating. In unplayed games and unrated opponents cases the rating will be considered conditionally as 1400.

5. QUALIFICATION

Rated event for July 2009 FIDE Rating List with any title norms.

(GEL-Georgian Lari. 1 USD = 1.67 GEL):

wm or 2200-2299: 25 GEL
wf or 2100-2199: 30 GEL
2000-2099: 35 GEL
1800-1999: 40 GEL

8. PRIZES (Prize Fund 28 000 GEL, approximately 16 800 USD)

All prizes are chargeable with 12% according to actual financial regulation of Georgia.

Prizes will not shared. Each winner will get her only maximal one prize according to final rank, after using tie-break systems, by the following priority:

b) unrated and under 1900
c) Rating 1900-2199
d) General prize

9. APPEALS COMMITTEE

Before the start of the tournament, an Appeals Committee will be elected.

10. ACCOMMODATION

By April FIDE Rating List the first 10 top rated foreigner players with Elo 2450 and more, who will send filled Registration Form N: 1" till 4th April, will be provided with free hotel room with 2-times food. On 6th April to him will be sent Invitation. Players and accompanying persons who need accommodation in Hotel rooms or in private rooms please let us know.

12. VISA

For representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova,Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, also for countries of European Union, Great Britain and USA don't need VISA. For representatives of all other federations available to receive VISA in Tbilisi and Batumi airports, or on Georgian border.
