In the chess halls of the Hungarian Chess Federation in Budapest 47 players represent the following 16 countries  BRA, CAN, DEN, FIN, GER, HKG, HUN, ISL. ISR, ENG, SRB, MNE, SVK, USA, VIE, WLS.

Five groups of different levels have been created based on ratings and titles. There is a GM group with average 2452 so GM norm is 7 points of 10 games.

17 year old IM Pap Gyula (HUN) took lead winning the first two games.

 

Fight is on for IM titles in two other groups.

In IM-A section 16 year old FM Mihok Oliver (HUN) took lead by 2 points followed by 18 year old WGM Corke Anya, Champion of HKG.

 

In the FM groups players try to increase their FIDE-ratings. One of our event is partly sponsored by Mr.Klein Rafael, a player of ISR, so for his request it is dedicated  for the memory of his mother for the second time.

The highest rated player is GM ILINCIC, Zlatko (SRB), while WGM CORKE, Anya (HKG) arrived from the most faraway. Both of them won in the first round.
