6th Mediterranean Championship is taking place from 10 to 18 January 2008 at Anatolia Beach Hotel in Kemer Antalya, Turkey. 40 players from 17 countries are taking part in the championship including 7 Grandmasters, 10 International Masters. The championship is sponsored by GATAB (Southern Antalya Municipalities Union) and organized jointly by the Mediterranean Chess Federation and the Turkish Chess Federation.
