Elista Grand Prix - Gashimov, Radjabov lead, Leko falters Print
Thursday, 18 December 2008 23:52

Vugar Gashimov joined his compatriot Teimour Radjabov on the top of the crosstable after a win against Alexander Grischuk. It seemed like Grischuk got better of the Naidorf Sicilian but then suddenly found himself in a weaker endgame.

Ernesto Inarkiev is an aggressive player, but today he pushed it a bit too far against Ivan Cheparinov who seized the chance and scored full point.
