PRESS RELEASE

We have started today our GM-IM-FM events (6th of December) in the tournament halls of the Hungarian Chess Federation, Budapest, Falk Miksa Str.10. 2nd floor, close to the Parlament.

We have now 39 players out of 13 countries: HUN, SRB, GER, USA, RUS, IND, VIE, MNE, ITA, NOR, TUR, ISR, ENG

In the GM section we have 14 players, the ELO average is 2434, the GM-norm is 9.5 points out of 13 games. In the IM section we have 13 players, the ELO average there is 2256. In the FM-A section we have 6 players, the ELO average is 2080.

The FM-B section we renamed as First Saturday FM-B 2008 December - 1st Susannah Klein memorial, for the memory of the mother of the player Rafael Klein (ISR). His mother died not long ago and we wish to salute with this action before the Klein family.There are 6 players there, the ELO average is 1663. Two talented HUN chess children play there, the 9 year KANTOR, Gergely and the 10 year JUHASZ, Armin. 

The games starting every day at 4:00 p.m. CET, the time control is 120 30.
