International Chess Festival in Pskov |

The Pskov Regional Chess Federation and State Committee of Youth and Sports of the Pskov Region will organize V International Chess Festival "Pskov 2008" from 20 to 29 June, 2008 in Pskov, Russia. The President of the Pskov Regional Chess Federation Dmitry Shahov is a Deputy Governor of Pskov region. The representatives from all regions of Russia and foreign countries gather every year in Pskov to take part in this Festival. There will be about 300 participants with 100-150 children among them
The Festival is going to be a good celebration for all chess fans. There will be cultural program for participants. They will visit historical places of the Pskov Region, such as churches and cloisters, Pushkin's estates, museums and exhibitions.
