In the decisive Game 6 Garry again played the Sicilian, this time choosing his favorite sharp Najdorf. He played an unusual move in the opening, but equalized easily. After the queens were exchanged, Black had a slight edge. Trying hard for a win, Kasparov sacrificed an exchange for a pawn and the initiative but, strangely, offered a draw soon after the sacrifice. Surprised, the computer team declined but two moves later agreed to the draw. See the game at the host site X3Dworld and on Chessbase.
