The World Youth Chess Championship 2005 will take place under the High Patronage of the French President, Mr. Jacques Chirac from 18-29 July 2005 in Belfort, France. Visit the official web site.

World Youth Chess Championship 2005 will take place under the High Patronage of the French President, Mr. Jacques Chirac in Belfort, France from 18-29 July 2005.

Mr. Jacques Chirac will also offer two vases made in the Sevres porcelain factory, which produces exclusive art works for the most prestigious personalities visiting France. One vase will be offered to the National Federation that will get the best overall result in the boys` championships, the other will be offered to the National Federation that will get the best overall result in the girls` championships.

The awarding regulations for these prestigious rewards will be published soon on the official web site.
