The Central American & Caribbean Under 20 Chess Championships for Boys & Girls held 11th to 15th August 2005 in St. Michael, Barbados was won by Columbian Women`s IM Nadya Ortiz with 8.5/9 and Mexican Youngster Luis Ibarra in the boys section on tie break with a score of 8/9. The Cuban FM Isam Ortiz (8/9) gets the second place on tie break despite defeating the champion. Visit the official site.
