Congressman Prospero Pichay and Mayor Abraham Tolentino are the new President and Secretary General, respectively, of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines. Congressman Pichay is Vice Chairman of the powerful Committee on Appointments of the House of Representatives while Mayor Tolentino of Tagaytay City hosted the Asian Cities and chess event of the Southeast Asian Games.
