The second International Course for FIDE Instructor / FIDE Trainer in this year is scheduled 21 to 27 July 2006 at the FIDE Trainer Academy in Berlin. A maximum of 16 trainers will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Required qualifications for FIDE Instructor title: Proof of at least 2 years activity as a trainer and a minimum rating of 1800. For FIDE Trainer title: Proof of at least 5 years activity as a trainer and a minimum rating of 2300 over a period of time. A centralised education should guarantee at the same time a high level methodical teaching activity as well as an upgrade of the profession as a trainer. What can you learn?
- Structures and duties of the Federation International des Echecs and the European Chess Union.
- Modern training teaching: How can one instruct strategy and tactics in all three stages of the game?
- Psychological/pedagogical competence of the chess trainer and social and psychological performance training with feedback.
- Computer aided electronic teaching, e-learning and learning measures with current ChessBase programme.
After successful graduation from the educational course, each participant will receive a certificate as International Trainer.
