 The 10th Essent Chess Tournament will take place from October, 20 to October, 28, 2006 in city of Hoogeveen, Netherlands. World Champion GM Topalov V. (BUL) is to play in a Crown group. Beside Topalov V. the Crown group will be represented by GMs Mamedyarov S. (AZE), Sokolov I. (NED), Polgar J. (HUN). There will be several competitions: a Crown Group, a strong Essent Open, an Amateur Tournament, a pub tournament and an event for youth. The matches will be live on the internet on the official tournament's web site.
