 The 5th Dubai Juniors Chess Championship is being held from 2nd to 12th July 2006 at the Dubai Chess and Culture Club in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Competing in the developmental tournament are more than 146 players from 16 countries, namely Azerbaijan, Australia, Germany, India, Iran, Philippines, Switzerland, Uzbakistan, United Kingdom, Libya, Syria, Qatar, Bahrain,
