The Singapore Chess Federation has the honour of inviting all Asian National Chess Federations affiliated to FIDE to participate in the 2006 Asian Schools Chess Festival (under-7, under-9, under-11, under -13, under -15) in Singapore from 17th December (arrival) to 24th December (departure). This is part of the Singapore International Chess Convention 2006 which includes an Arbiters Training Seminar and a Seminar for Coaches. The Singapore Masters & Challengers International Open Tournaments starts immediately after. Read more, download regulations.

The Singapore International Chess Convention 2006 is organised jointly by the Singapore Chess Federation and ASEAN Chess Academy under the
auspices of the Singapore Sports Council and the World Chess Federation (FIDE).
The Seminar for Coaches shall start 18 December to be conducted by FIDE Senior Trainer & IM Michael Khodarkovsky, President of American Chess University, President of Kasparov Chess Foundation and FIDE Senior Trainer & GM Utut Adianto, Director of Adianto Chess School.
An Arbiters Training Seminar starts 19 December to be conducted by IA Werner Stubenvoll of Austria, (Chairman of Technical Admin Panel, Olympiads) and IA Hamid Majid of Malaysia.
The Singapore Masters & Challengers International Open Tournaments is scheduled 25 to 31 December 2006.
