59th Russian Championship Superfinal was held in Moscow from 3 to 15 December 2006. 12 players competed in a 16th category round-robin for the title of the Russian Champion and Evgeny Alekseev, young GM from Saint Petersburg, won it on tiebreaks. Find final standings here.
