Chess is becoming more popular all over the World. More chess players become the Sportsmen of the month and year. Another chess prodigy, a young chess player from Uganda Kenneth Ouma became the east African nation`s top sportsman of January by Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA). Kenneth Ouma gathered 550 votes and beat KCC FC striker Hamis Kitagenda, distance runner Moses Kipsiro, boxer Badru Lusambya and fellow chess player Shadrac Kantinti.
