World School Chess Championship 2007 (U-7 U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17) is organized in Halkidiki Greece from 27 April to 6 May 2007, under the auspices of FIDE, ISCU and the Greek Chess Federation. There will be several parallel seminars and activites which we present here.

1.1st International Arbiters Training Seminar will be held from 29 April to 4 May 2007, Halkidiki, Greece. The main lecturer is the Chairman of FIDE Arbiters Council IA Panagiotis Nikolopoulos. Attendees of the seminars after exams can be awarded with FIDE Arbiters Norms and Titles.

2.International Open Chess Tournament Halkidiki 2007 will be held concurrent with the World School Championship. GM Stratos Grivas (2510), GM Krum Gerogiev (GM 2507), IM Stojanovski Dejan (2394) and others have already registered to participate in the Open tournament.

3. International Open Rapid Tournament will be held from 5 to 6 May 2007, Halkidiki, Greece.

4. International School Teacher Seminar will be organised from 3 to 4 May 2007. Main lecturer is Alexander Kostyev, Professor of Moscow University (chess studies) and President of International School Chess Union.

5. 1st International Marketing Seminar will be held by Event Consulting under the auspices of European Chess Union. In the seminar very important studies from Chess experts, sports and media Leaders will be presented.

6. Very exciting excursions to meet the Greek Ancient History will be also organized.
