The Armenian Chess Federation headed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsian is organizing a 6 game Rapid Match: World Chess Champion Vladimir Kramnik of Russia vs. World Cup 2005 winner Levon Aronian of Armenia from 4-6 May 2007 in Yerevan, Armenia. .

The Armenian Chess Federation headed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsian is organizing a 6 game Rapid Match: World Chess Champion Vladimir Kramnik of Russia vs. World Cup 2005 winner Levon Aronian of Armenia from 4-6 May 2007 in Yerevan, Armenia.

The tournament venue will be the Opera House, one of the most prestigious halls in Yerevan. The Chief Arbiter of the Match will be IA Ashot Vardapetian.

Two games will be played each day. The time control will be 25 minutes for the whole game with an increment of 10 seconds per move.
