The Chess Center of Azerbaijan under the auspieces of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan, National Olympic Committee and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation is holding the II International Chess Festival "President`s Cup" in the memory of the former President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliev.

The festival will take place from 1 to 12 May 2007 in Baku. The total prize fund of this tournament is 50 000 USD (5000 USD for the first place).
