Chinese GMs Dominate Philippine International Open Print

Chinese GMs dominated the top five places in the $40,000 Philippine International Open organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines at the Subic Bay Freeport, Philippines. GMs Wang Yue, Zhang Zhong and Ni Hua tied for the top three places with 7 points each followed by GMs Wang Hao and Zhao Jun with 6.5 points each. Iranian GM Ehsan Ghaem Maghami and Indonesian GM Susanto Megaranto and GM Li Shilong trail with 6 points apiece. For full standings, go to the Swiss Manager site. .
