The increase in the number of participating teams is a credit to the world renowned capabilities of Singapore in organizing world class chess tournaments. The Singapore Chess Federation (SCF), headed by their newly elected president, FIDE General Secretary Ignatius Leong, will organize the World Youth Under 16 Olympiad under the auspices of the Singapore Sports Council and Federation Internationale Des Echecs (FIDE). |
