UAE`s Saleh Salem topped the Asian Youth Championship Boys-14 division and won the pure gold medal from Asian Chess Federation President Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifah Al Nahyan along with other age group winners honored at awards ceremonies in Al Ain, UAE. India topped the medal tally with five golds and one gold each for Iran and Vietnam. Silver medals went to India and Vietnam (3 each) and one each for Iran and Uzbekistan. Bronze medals went to Vietnam three, India and Iran two each and Kyrgyzstan. Read final standings and photo report.
