 India`s GM Surya Shekhar Ganguly and WGM Harika Dronavali won the men`s and women`s events, respectively, in the Zone 3.2 Zonal Championship organized by the Bangladesh Chess Federation 24-31 August 2007 in Dhaka. Ganguly won the playoff 2:0 over IM Gopal while Harika won solo first. We welcome and congratulate the new president of the Bangladesh Chess Federation, Hon. Md.
