The 17th World Seniors Chess Championship was held in Gmunden, Austria from 17 to 28 September 2007. 233 participants from 42 federations with 15 Grandmasters in the Men/Women tournament and 34 participants from 14 countries with four Women Grandmasters in the Women section took part. The World Champions 2007 are WGM Hanna Erenska-Barlo of Poland and IM Algimantas Butnorius of Lithuania. The final stadings are available here.
