A very strong blindfold chess tournament is currently being held in Bilbao, Spain between the 16th and 20th October 2007. The participants are ex World Champion Veselin Topalov, and top world players Judit Polgar, Magnus Carlsen, Bu Xianghzi, Pentala Harikrishna and Sergey Karjakin. A conference on chess in education will also be held and guest speakers include FIDE Commission Chairman of Chess in Schools, Uvencio Blanco, Grandmaster Jaime Sunye amongst other key speakers.
