 GM Ehsan Ghaem Maghami and WIM Atousa Pourkashiyan, both of Iran, won the Men's and Women's Zone 3.1 Zonal Championships, respectively, organized by the Bahrain Mind Sports Association October 14 to 22 in Manama, Bahrain. Ten players from six countries competed in the men`s single round robin while six players from three countries competed in the women`s double round robin. See final standings.
