Three Chinese, Li Chao, Ni Hua and Zhou Weiqi placed first to third to win the lion`s share of the $40,000 Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Cup held 21 to 29 Nov. in Manila. Starting 1st December is the $30,000 3rd Prospero Pichay, Jr. International also in Manila in the back-to-back events organized by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP).
