 European Senior Team Chess Championship 2008 took place in Dresden, Germany, 11-19 February 2008. The organiser of the tournament was European Chess Union (ECU), with the assistance of ZMD Schachfestival Dresden e.V. The venue of the Championship was RAMADA Hotel Dresden. Teams from each federation of ECU had the right to participate in the Championship. The format of the tournament was 9 round swiss system. The winning team obtained the title “European Senior Team Champion 2008”. |
