Nakhchivan Open 2019, dedicated to the memory of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, will be held in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan from 30th April (Arrival Day) to 10th May (Closing Ceremony) 2019.

Tournament will be held as the Swiss system (9 rounds).

The rate of play will be 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting move one.
