The 46th Dortmund Sparkassen Chess-Meeting took place from 12th to 22nd July 2018. Eight players participated in the round robin tournament.
Ian Nepomniachtchi defeated Georg Meier in the final round to complete the event with 5 points, leaving the chasing pack a full point behind.
