The 48th Bosna International Tournament was held from 5-11th May, 2018, at hotel Saraj in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The event was organized by Chess Club Bosna and supported by Sarajevo Canton.
135 players from 18 countries competed in the 9-round Swiss event. Among them were 15 Grandmasters and 16 International Masters.
5th-seeded GM Emre Can from Turkey claimed the winner's trophy after a last round victory vs GM Ante Brkic.
Best placed U16 player is Velimir Ivic (SRB) with 6,5 points, best placed veteran S60 is GM Emir Dizdarevic (BIH) with 6 points and best placed woman is WIM Jovana Eric (SRB) with 5,5 points.
