5th Srefidensi Chess Celebration tournament |

In honor of the independence day of Suriname (November 25), and after the enormous success of the previous Srefidensi tournaments, the Surinaamse Schaakbond organizes the 5th Srefidensi Chess Celebration tournament, from Monday, November 20th, 2017 until Sunday, November 26th, 2017.
This International tournament will be held in 2 sections: A Master Class and an Open Class.
Participation in the Master Class is reserved for players with an (FIDE recognized) title and an ELO rating >2200 and players with a personal invitation from the Organizing Committee.
Participation is in the Open Class is open for every player of all federations.
The Master Class is a 9 round Swiss, Fide rated tournament.
The Open Class is a 7 round Swiss Fide rated tournament (78 players).
The top prize in Master Class is 2000 USD
