2017 UTD Fall FIDE Open will take place November 17 - 22 at the The Embassy Suites Dallas - Park Central.
Opened to around 50 players, any GM/IM/FM/WGM/WIM/WFM or FIDE rated player rated 2000 or USCF rated player or 2200. To improve Norm chances, a maximum of one-third of the total field will be permitted to be U2200 FIDE.
Top participants in the event include GM Anton Kovalyov, GM Jeffrey Xiong, GM Samuel Sevian, GM Timur Gareyev, GM Li Ruifeng, IM Sergei Matsenko, GM Bartlomiej Macieja, GM Eugene Perelshteyn, IM Ider Borya, IM William Michael Brown, GM Denis Kadric, GM Popilski Gil, GM Razvan Preotu, IM Evgeny Shtembuliak, etc.
Live games with analysis will be daily on Chessdom with the TCEC participants Komodo, Houdini, and Stockfish.
