The 45th Sparkassen Chess-Meeting was held from 15-23rd July at the Orchesterzentrum NRW in Dortmund, Germany.
In the final seventh round all games were decisive: Radoslaw Wojtaszek outplayed Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu, Vladimir Fedoseev defeated Wang Yue, Vladimir Kramnik won against Matthias Bluebaum, while Dmitry Andreikin lost to Maxime Vachier-Lagrave.
The tournament winner is Radoslaw Wojtaszek from Poland who scored 4.5 points from 7 games. Vladimir Fedoseev (Russia) and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (France) are half a point behind.
