The XI Remberto Fernández Chess Tournament in its second International Edition, will be held from May 3rd to 25th in Havana, Cuba.

The tournament will be held at the University of Informatics Sciences. The institution is located 15 minutes from José Martí International Airport.
FIDE current international regulations will apply; the game time will be 90 minutes with 30 seconds increment from move 1.
It will be played by the Swiss System to 10 rounds. The tolerance time will be half an hour.
Tie-Break Systems to be applied will be: Buchholz System, Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz Cut 2, Number of games won and Direct encounter.
